This sheath is custom made for the SOG "NW RANGER" knife.

IMPORTANT FITMENT INFO!!!

Your SOG NW RANGER might have sharp edges on the front of the guard that may prevent inserting the knife. To remedy the sharp edges, take a leather strop and polish the forward facing edge to remove the sharpness. Doing this with a Strop or a very fine polishing cloth like Emory cloth will remove the sharp edges or burrs that can "cut" or hangup in the kydex. The polishing will NOT DAMAGE OR CHANGE THE LOOK OF YOUR GUARD. USE GOOD JUDGMENT AND UNDERSTAND THAT USING COARSE ABRASIVES WILL REMOVE METAL. JUST POLISH, NOT REMOVE METAL TO KEEP THE SAME FACTORY LOOK. A SIMPLE POLISH WILL ALLOW PROPER FUNCTIONALITY OF THE KYDEX SHEATH.
